February Brings Snow to Tahoe

February 2021 has started off with a bang! With tons of fresh snowfall, this is looking like the perfect time to head to Lake Tahoe and hit the slopes. 

At Lake Tahoe, the past few days have been windy and dry. Don't let the weather on the ground fool you- in the mountains, snow is moving in! At the end of January, a snow storm that brought multiple feet of snow to local ski resorts, and it's been piling up since then. According to OpenSnow, Lake Tahoe has seen roughly three feet of snow during February. As a result, ski conditions are looking great!

Seasonal totals are surging, with plenty more snow yet to come throughout the rest of winter and into spring. OpenSnow predicts 13 more inches over the next ten days. This means that March bodes extremely well for skiers looking to tackle some winter runs.
